Call of Duty Warzone World War 2 Map.
Rumor has it that Call of Duty: Warzone is in plans to add a new map based entirely on WWII. Though initially, it ran alongside COD: Modern Warfare, COD: Warzone isn’t coming slow and still going pretty solid.
Call of Duty: Warzone’s approach is different when compared to the yearly approach of other COD games. COD: Warzone comes up with regular updates to keep up with new COD releases. Talking about its updates, the most recent one integrated it with COD Black Ops: Cold War. And now a rumor has spread among the COD community about the next big update about COD: Warzone which is due next year. If these rumors turn out to be true then fans may get a totally new map based on World War 2.
Besides the unusual update approach taken by COD: Warzone, the Call of Duty games on the contrary are released yearly. And each year a different team of developers takes charge and comes with a new game.
This developer rotation takes place between Infinity Ward (developers of 2019’s Modern Warfare and COD: Warzone), Treyarch (Black Ops: Cold War), and Sledgehammer Games. Next year it is Sledgehammer’s turn to make the next Call of Duty. Subsequently, the reports about the next sequel start to surface about Call of Duty: WW2. This makes the recent rumor more believable that COD: Warzone will be adding WW2 themed map. However, this will happen once the new game is released and COD: Warzone will integrate with it later on like it did with Black Ops: Cold War.
The rumor came out on Twitter on behalf of a credible source, Tom Henderson. However, Activision has yet to make any official announcement pertaining to the rumor as well as Call of Duty 2021. So, as for now, fans should wait for the official statement and take this information with a grain of salt.
