Capcom Listens to Fans and Made Much needed Changes to the Final Demo.
Resident Evil fans, get ready as the Resident Evil Village demo is scheduled to release this weekend. The good news is that Capcom has finally decided to bestow mercy on the PC gamers and has extended the demo window time.
It will be the first demo for PC players as the earlier demos were launched exclusively for PlayStation. Moreover, The Castle, and the village demo had a limited and short window of only eight hours. Continuing with the same practice, the company behind Resident Evil decided to give the final demo a window of only 24 hours; quite a stingy approach by the game studio.
Needless to say, fans were quite annoyed and upset by this approach of Capcom. You never know, you can get busy on the release date and lose the opportunity to play the demo. Although the demos were of shorter durations i.e. 30 minutes, still fans demanded a longer window. This led to many voicing their concerns on social media and pleaded the game developer to address the issue.
The developer responded on Twitter, “We’ve heard your feedback and are extending the availability period for the final 60-minute multi-platform #REVillage demo.” Fans warmly welcomed the decision and now eager to play the demo as soon as they get time.
The final demo of Resident Evil Village was announced earlier this month with a 24 hour window time. Thanks to CM as they listened and addressed the concerns of its fans. Instead of 24 hours window, the game developer has decided to extend the window by adding a whole week. This will give players eight days to play and enjoy the demo. However, it is still beyond comprehension that a demo is time-bound and won’t be available after that.
