Microsoft Xbox
What’s up, everyone? Microsoft Xbox Series X and Series S are coming! After the recent successful PS5 Showcase Event, we came to know about the much-awaited release date and price of the PS5 console but what we didn’t know was when and where to buy PS5 and how to pre-order.
But hey, surprise, surprise, Sony via Tweet told everyone that preorders would begin on 17th September, and guess what? Utter chaos and mess. People went berserk, broken links, ‘server down’, page time outs, and ‘out of stock’ slapped everyone on the face.
The floodgates were opened a day early and only the quickest and slickest buyers made it. Well, Sony was not alone this week, as Nvidia also made a mockery of the Preorder process along with Sony.
Now, on the other hand, Microsoft has promised a much smoother and consumer-friendly preorder process for its consumers. Microsoft has laid out exactly when and where you can preorder Microsoft Xbox Series X and S.
Mark your calendars and set alarm on your clocks, Xbox next-gen consoles will start on 22nd September 8 am PT/11 am ET at various retailers. And for digital preorders, online retailers like Target, Best Buy, Walmart, Gamestop, Amazon, Costco, Newegg, and more will carry the online preorder bookings for both Series X and S.
Let’s see how things will unfold on the preorder day for Microsoft Xbox consoles but Microsoft’s approach is a stark contrast to the PS5 preorder process. Sony’s earlier announcement was that the preorders will start on 17th September but instead preorders went live haphazardly across different retail stores at different times. Some sites couldn’t bear the traffic and crashed and others were unable to meet the demand.
Mind you, Microsoft Xbox Series X will be available on retail for $499, while series S will retail at $299. Gear up to get your hands on these next-gen consoles to make your holiday season more fun. Geronimo!
