Last night a massive next-gen news package was dropped. Following the suit of Microsoft, Sony finally announced some of the most awaited details of PS5. Raising the expectations of the fans, the PS5 September showcase event announced several game trailers and new game announcements. These new games included the much anticipated God of War, Hogwarts Legacy, and Final Fantasy XVI. So let’s jump right into the details, shall we?
The topmost important news was, of course, the pricing and the launch date of PS5. The next-gen console will be available at a base price of $499.99 and a disc-free digital edition for $399.99. The next-gen console will hit the market shelves on the 12th of November.
Another big announcement was the PlayStation Plus Collection; a subscription service that will let its subscribers play a large number of PS4 classics on their PS5. This feature will be available at the launch of PS5.
Spider-Man Miles Morales was also showcased with a deeper look at the gameplay, where awesome spidey abilities and next-gen combat mechanics were shown. You can play this game this holiday season.
The rumor has come true about the open-world Harry Potter game. The fans went in a frenzy on live stream chat on YouTube and other social media platforms as soon as the trailer went live. This open wizard world of Harry Potter is yet another addition in the Harry Potter universe, Hogwarts Legacy will launch next year.
The long-awaited sequel of God of War is now official. A small teaser trailer was shown yesterday and the game appears to be called Ragnarok, yes, you got that right, references were made at the end of the original game. The launch date is yet to be released but most likely we will get our hands on this one next year.
