Microsoft announced on Friday that 20 of Bethesda’s award-winning games are on their way to Xbox Game Pass subscription. This announcement came after Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda was completed earlier this week.

Xbox Game Pass subscription is getting a supply of Bethesda games. These 20 games also include the games from super-hit franchises like The Elder Scrolls series, Doom, Wolfenstein series, Fallout, and Dishonored. Phil Spencer, head of Xbox at Microsoft, said, “If you’re an Xbox customer, the thing I want you to know is that this is about delivering great exclusive games for you that ship on platforms where Game Pass exists.”

That being said, Microsoft has no plans to discontinue Bethesda games from PlayStation or other consoles yet. Spencer added that Bethesda games will get support on other consoles till contractual obligations last. Spencer said, “We have games that exist on other platforms, and we’re gonna go support those games on the platforms they’re on. There are communities of players and we love those communities, and we’ll continue to invest in them.”

Other platforms like PC, Xbox, and xCloud

Moreover, 16 of the 20 games will also be available across other platforms like PC, Xbox, and xCloud, and “a handful of these games will also benefit from FPS Boost on Xbox Series X / S.” This means that the Xbox FPS Boost feature will kick in and make the experience more worthwhile for players.
