Halo Infinite won’t see the daylight in 2020, as it is delayed to 2021!
All aboard the hype train, whoop whoop! Halo Infinite won’t see the daylight in 2020, as it is delayed to 2021! But alas, Halo Infinite won’t be the one. But there are many other awesome confirmed games such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Gear Tactics, Dirt 5, Yakuza: like a Dragon, Watch Dogs: Legion.
Moreover, there are new games that are exclusively being developed for Xbox Series X and will be launching with Xbox Pass includes Scorn, Tetris Effect Connected, The Medium, and more. Some more games are optimized to run on Xbox Series X such as Destiny 2, Ori and the Will of Wisps, Gears 5, Madden NFL 21, Forza Horizon 4, and more.
But the sad news is that Halo has delayed the launch from holiday 2020 to an unspecified date of 2021.
Meaning it will not launch along-side Xbox Series X as Xbox had previously planned. A statement released by Microsoft has confirmed that the delay has come due to multiple factors that contributed to the development challenges including ongoing COVID related factors impacting us all this year.
Halo Infinite was undoubtedly the top launch game for Xbox Series X but Microsoft has confirmed its launch plan for next-gen console despite the delay in Halo Infinite. A bitter pill to digest for the Halo fan-base but it’s better late than never.
Moreover, the good news is that 343 Industries recently confirmed that Halo Infinite multiplayer will also be free-to-play and support 120 fps on Xbox Series X. Well, personally for me, Halo Infinite not being the part of Xbox Series X launch game is a turn-off, what about you? Share your thoughts in the comments.
