Rockstar Shares the Biggest News of 2022: GTA 6 is Official and “well underway”.

The biggest gaming news in 2022 is out as Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 6 is in active development and well underway. Turns out that the rumor and reports from last year were indeed correct and a new GTA6 game will emerge soon.

However, there are no dates or even years were mentioned for GTA 6 in the released statement. But we can carefully assess that the game may launch in the year 2024.

The year 2024 prediction is for console gamers, PC gamers will have to wait a lot more as was seen in the case of RDR2, GTA4, and GTA5.

Besides the date, there isn’t any information about the game setting, environment, the city it will base on, and so on.

However, previous reports suggested that the new GTA game will most probably be similar to GTA 5.

Some other reports suggest otherwise and say that the game will revert back to the Vice City-style Miami setting.

Whatever the case may be, it will be interesting to see how GTA 6 turns out given the team. GTA’s co-founder Dan Houser left the team in 2020 and he was the main inspiration and primary creative force behind GTA games.
