Mike Morhaime’s letter addresses the issue right away and he says that he read California’s complaint against Activision. Mike Morhaime was the key person for Activision Blizzard for nearly 28 years where he worked as president for 10 years. Since then he has started a new venture and is working as CEO of a new studio known as Dreamhaven. Morhaime felt the need to address and issue a statement because according to the findings in the lawsuit, several events happened under his tenure. Employees at Dreamhaven must be feeling uncomfortable, to say the least.

Morhaime further wrote that it was his and Blizzard’s senior leadership’s responsibility to provide a safe environment for all employees. Addressing the horrifying experiences faced by women in Blizzard, Morhaime wrote, “I am extremely sorry that I failed you.”
