Pethereum is a pet-farming styled, play-to-earn, simulation, card trading game where the players can choose from a wide range of cute pet monsters as a companion to become part of different games.
The developers plan to create more than 13 billion NFT pets with five categories based on the availability of the pet monsters – Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. In terms of visual graphics, the game resembles the Axie Infinity style. It is a play-to-earn game on the Ethereum blockchain technology as the name suggests (Pet + Ethereum = Pethereum).
It is basically a card game with simple gameplay, the players need to collect different pets and earn money from their value through the staking system of crypto profiting. However, this is not the only method of earning cash in Pethereum. Players can also earn by playing mini-games on the platform like Pet Crush, Jumpy Pets, Shell Pets, Floppy Pets, and Memory Pets. The game is under development which is why it still doesn’t have any original token of itself, $PETH token is being used in the alpha version currently.
In the future, Pethereum Crystals will be used as utility tokens in the game. The Pethereum Crystal is necessary to breed your pets to create a new one. Apart from staking, the players can also get 35% of the profits by creating their own game mode.
