Axiepop is a blockchain mini-game of Axie Infinity where you pop Axies. You have to solve puzzles like Candy Crush in order to pop your Axies. The player with the highest score wins.
The game is yet to launch to the general public and there is only the trailer to give us an expectation of what the game will be. From the looks of it, the game looks fairly simple and easy to play. Those familiar with puzzle should have no problem playing this game. The game revolves around the process of matching the Axies in rows of three and once you have properly aligned your axis they will pop and you will gain points for it.
Like candy crush, if you are unable to match the Axies in time your game will end and you will be given your points. The website says to beat your opponent, so it might be a PVP mode in it where you face off against another opponent in real-time. Moreover, the one with the most points will win the game and rewards.
Axiepop Overview
The game uses Ethereum blockchain, so you can expect flexibility in terms of what you can do with your rewards. However, the games earning mechanism has not yet been mentioned. A PvP match win would be certain and there might be a chance that the game may have a leaderboard for weekly and monthly rewards.
Since the game will be available on both PC and Mobile, players will have the chance to earn on the go. The game at the very least would be a great time pass for when you are commuting or have that extra few minutes during your lunch break.
There is no clarity of when the game will actually become available to play. However, with the Axie community being so active, it wouldn’t be that difficult to know when it does. The game promises to be a great alternative to candy crush. It is unlike other puzzle games as this would earn you something.
