The game is an extension of the hugely popular AOTU World franchise. The AOTU Verse NFT game and the second-most watched Chinese anime of all time, AOTU World, are both parts of the franchise.
The game itself was a huge success. It opened the door for another expansion of the AOTU world, the blockchain game built on the Solana blockchain, with 15 million downloads. Moreover, the previous game, called Otuverse, was discontinued in 2022, and the new one is currently being made.
Autoverse Background
The game’s central plot is taken directly from the original anime. In particular, a competition that takes place on the AOTU planet is the center of the AOTU franchise. It’s interesting that the gods themselves are in charge of organizing the competition. Besides, the victor of the competition will have the capacity to disrupt this cycle and alter their own destiny, which is generally how they decide the fate of every human in the universe.
Autoverse Gameplay
Autoverse is played on a chessboard that serves as a means of strategy and movement. Each of the five colors that make up the squares causes a certain action to be taken when a player steps on it. Additionally, there are more than 50 characters to select from, each with unique characteristics that will influence how they behave and perform in combat. For PVE and PVP modes, you choose 4 and 5 characters, respectively, and try to put them on the board strategically to improve your chances of winning.
Game’s Earning Potential
Trading NFTs of in-game characters and objects is the very first way to earn money. If the game gains more popularity or if a player is successful in upgrading their NFTs through battle victory or experience, the price of NFTs will increase.
The alternative is to just play and excel at the game. You can make money in both PVP and PVE modes by completing new stages and ranking at the top of leaderboards. Moreover, the Grey token and the Starstone token are the two native coins you can earn. They can be used to upgrade your characters, purchase items, or be exchange for different cryptocurrencies.
