Users who are interested in testing out this brand-new Axie experience can access it after proving that they are the owners of an Axie NFT. The game is played by overcoming a variety of barriers and chimeric enemies along the way. The game is all inspired by the already popular NFT game Axie Infinity. Anyone with an Axie is now able to test out Across Lunacia, which is now in its Alpha stage. The team’s objective is to finish the game before the end of the year by continuing to develop it. In order to create and grow Across Lunacia, the team wants to make use of community-based contributions. They want to create a fun game that each owner of an Axie may play and perhaps even add content to.
Across Lunacia Market
It is unsure if the game will have a market separate from Axie infinity or a market that is connected to it. Rumors say that NFTs would be usable in both games and all sub-axie games to come in the future. The blockchain will most likely also be Ethereum which is the same as Axie Infinity. There may be an addition of another game token, while AXS will also be usable.
Across Lunacia Gameplay
Lunacia is divided into different lands of different sizes. These lands can serve as a home base and as a base to conduct operations. Moreover, these plots of land will be upgradable through items collected in the game. The project has been under development since last November.
The Axie Infinity builder’s program enables the creation of numerous game experiences while the core team continues to work on Axie Infinity: Origin. In addition to the previous projects, the builder’s program is aiding in the creation of the battle royale game Mech Infinity, a racing game called Lunacia Cup, and an Axie-themed brawler game called Axie Brawler. So there is more to come in the future.
