BAFTA Games Awards 2021.

In a year marred with literal social separation and mental agony, games have proven themselves to be more essential than ever. It was games that connected people in ways that no other medium did.

Several top-rated games like Animal Horizon, Doom Eternal, Hades, Valorant, Cyberpunk 2077, and more made their way to the gaming scene.

Some of the games were honored in recent BAFTA or British Academy Games Awards. However, there was one particular game that stole the show; Hades.

Hades was the undisputed winner of the BAFTA Games Awards 2021 clinching five awards. Hades won Best Game, Artistic Achievement, Game Design, Narrative, and Performer in a Supporting Role for Logan Cunningham.

Besides Hades, Animal Crossing, The Last of Us part 2, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure also won two awards each. Animal Crossing bag the trophy in the category of Game Beyond Entertainment and Multiplayer. While Sackboy: A Big Adventure won the categories of British Game and Family.

The best animation was won by The Last of Us Part 2, while Laura Bailey won the Performer in a Leading Role for her star performance as Abby. The Last of Us part 2 also won the EE Game of the Year Award based on public voting.
