Activision just confirmed that it is planning to launch a new Call of Duty game.
It is coming in the last quarter of this year. The call never stops so players better get ready to blaze some guns.
The news came out during Activision Blizzard’s Q4 2020 earnings call in which Dennis Durkin shared Activision’s plan for the coming year. CFO Dennis Durkin said, “A strong premium release planned for Q4 in 2021.”
Moreover, existing COD players and community will get migrated to the new game which confirms that full annual release is on the cards.

However, the COD community questioned about the Call of Duty!
The release of full annual COD amid the massive success of free to play COD: Warzone across multiple years. But Activision has plans of its own and is not showing any hint of slowing down anytime sooner. During Dennis Durkin’s call, there was no mention of title, developers, or subject matter of the new release.
Dennis mentioned plans related to Warzone and said, “the franchise will benefit from a full year of Warzone driving upgrades to our premium content and incremental in-game player investment.” He further added, “There is a fantastic pipeline of in-game [Call of Duty] content ahead across all platforms. Call of Duty is entering 2021 with the largest player community it has ever had to start a year.”
Moving on, Dennis talked about Blizzard and said that Activision hasn’t got any plans for Diablo IV or Overwatch 2 launching in 2021. As for mobile games, there are multiple free Warcraft games in development.
