Catalyst Black, Super Evil MegaCorp
Black Catalyst is more like a large scale PVP arena. Lets put it that way if you have ever played World of WarCraft, you will know of a PVP battle arena called Alterac valley; a 40 VS 40, horde VS alliance battle arena where your end objective was to kill the opponent’s leader.
Similarly, in Catalyst Black, you have two teams of 10 or 20 whom battle out in a large scale arena with one major objective to achieve with lots of other little PVE objectives on the way.
Moreover, your character has a loadout; abilities, passives, different weapon load-outs, and then a transformation into primal Gods from other realms.
It is a team-based drop in drop out, battleground shooter with certain features unlike any other game in the market right now. SMEC has taken a lot of lessons from Vainglory and successfully created something fresh creatively and technically.
An interesting feature is a Drop-In Drop Out (DIDO) design that allows players to directly join a friend’s game by clicking on their name and when you need to leave the game due to whatever reason life throws at you, you can leave without any penalty.
In addition to that, the mobile combat system is designed in such a way that allows players to experience a refined battleground shooting that lets you showcase your mechanical and tactical abilities in large scale battles.
Moreover, the team of Super Evil MegaCorp has also invested a lot of effort into optimizing performance, download speed, and memory usage across the board. Black Catalyst will release first in mobile platforms, so get ready to get a little evil.
