Call of Duty: Vanguard will be revealed in Warzone via a trailer on 19th August. This confirmed report came from a promotional picture on PlayStation Store; accidentally or not is a debate for some other time.

But coincidentally Black Ops Cold War was announced the same way by Activision that is accidentally or before it should have been. As it turned out, the strategy paid off in leaps and bounds; no wonder Activision did the same with COD: Vanguard.

Call of Duty Vanguard was the talk of the town all year round. It was subjected to leaks and the first leak of Vanguard was its name itself. Call of Duty Vanguard is set in a time zone near to or during the time of World War 2.

This information was also supported by recently leaked images that showed WWII weaponry, and soldiers in an environment containing palm trees. Another image featured Vanguard characters, weapons, and skins for Warzone. After the leaked images went viral, Activision made efforts to take them down, yes, maybe a tactic may be not.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is being developed by Sledgehammer studios, the makers of COD WWII. It is their first major project since COD: WWII back in 2017.

We can also expect Vanguard to get integrated with Warzone just like its predecessor Black Ops Cold War did.

The COO and president of Activision said that the game is being built to “integrate with and enhance” Call of Duty: Warzone. So, keeping this in mind, we can fancy our chances and expect a mind-blowing game from Sledgehammer Studios.
